V-O-Cal is making the most of the abundant creativity and energy of students in the many Bay area colleges and universities.
Developing partnerships with SJSU, Stanford, UC Berkeley and many others enables us to spread the word about the opportunities VOCal offers on projects and get some much needed help in our inaugural year.
For example, as a project for class credit, a grad student at SJSU is developing the food service manual for VOCal, including food safety tips, sample menus, and shopping lists for the volunteer cooks. (Yes, we provide great meals for our volunteers).
