Involving youth in V-O-Cal’s land stewardship activities will be an important component of its future program offerings. However, such outreach requires special effort somewhat different than the leadership development and outreach required for adult volunteers. As a result, we are working in partnership with others, like the City of Oakland Parks and Recreation, as we explore and develop a youth program.
