EVENT PLANNING & MANAGEMENT
Each V-O-Cal project takes a lot of planning and coordination and our Event Planning & Management program uses the baseline of our Project Planning Training to provide a thorough and well-rounded skills development program.
With a curriculum geared for providing all participants with an understanding of what it takes to fully engage a planning team and making each event successful, trainees learn:
- key leadership concepts
- communicating the plan
- sharing the load
- recruitment and outreach
- implementation strategies
- recognition
This program starts with a Concepts and Skills session and is followed by a hands-on exercise using the planning skills learned in the first session. Participants leave with a extensive set of tools to use in planning and managing their own events.
